Awful

Today, more than 100,000 Arizona children are growing up without health insurance because politicians at the Capitol won’t restore funding to our KidsCare program. These are children whose parents are working in jobs that don’t provide health insurance. Politicians punishing children in this way is just awful.

We can change this callous behavior toward children by winning this election. That is why for the past 6 months we have been building the infrastructure for a winning campaign. Our staff and volunteers have called thousands of voters and knocked on thousands of doors. Now we are ten weeks from Primary Election Day, and one of our most critical tests yet is next week — our second quarter fundraising deadline.

To symbolize the work we need to do in the next 10 weeks, we have set a goal of raising $10,000 before the deadline on Saturday, June 30. Will you help us reach this goal with a contribution of $10, $25, or $50 today?

This deadline is critical for two reasons. It will show the media, pundits and our opponents whether or not we have the resources to build a successful campaign. Second, this the last deadline before summer advertising begins. The amount of airtime we can purchase to get our message out to voters will be dependent on how much money we raise this quarter.
