And with the Defense of Marriage Act on its way to the Supreme Court, Vernon Parker has promised to support an amendment to the Constitution that would deny same-sex couples the right to get married.

Appellate Court judges appointed by every Republican president from Nixon to Reagan to G.W. Bush all agree: the ‘gay exception’ in DOMA violates the Constitution. But Vernon Parker stands with the tea party, denying millions of Americans their rights.
