PHOENIX – Today, Kyrsten Sinema was endorsed by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) for her support of Arizona businesses.
“I am proud to earn the endorsement of the National Association of Women Business Owners,” said Sinema. “We work hard every day to find creative, commonsense solutions that help businesses, both large and small, thrive and contribute to the local economy. We’ll continue working on both sides of the aisle to support Arizona business owners, cut red tape, and keep our economy growing.”
“During her time in Congress, Kyrsten has shown her understanding of the issues facing small business owners and the contribution they make to this economy as well as her willingness to work with members of both political parties to ensure and expand opportunities for business owners,” said Teresa Meares, NAWBO National Board Chair. “NAWBO was founded 41 years ago to advocate on behalf of all women business owners. We are pleased to endorse Kyrsten in her bid for re-election and look forward to working with her.”
In Congress, Kyrsten has led the fight to repeal the Health Insurance Tax (HIT), a direct tax that increases the cost of health insurance for Arizona families, employers, and employees. She also passed the Helping Angels Lead Our Startups (HALOS) Act to reduce the regulatory burden on startup businesses refining their business plans and pitching their ideas to potential investors.
Founded in 1975, the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) is the unified voice of America’s more than 9.1 million women-owned businesses representing the fastest growing segment of the economy. NAWBO is the only dues-based organization representing the interests of all women entrepreneu
