This is tough to read.

If you needed a reminder of how out of touch this clueless Congress is, just listen to US Representative Todd Akin on the subject of women being raped.
Akin explained that victims of “legitimate rape” don’t become pregnant. He actually said, “If it’s legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.”
The truth is that 32,000 women are impregnated every year in our country due to rape. This is an outrageous reality. But extremists in Congress are so focused on dictating to women how to live our personal lives that they ignore reality and get lost trying to justify their actions. More than 200 members of Congress have sponsored a bill that tries to draw a distinction between rape and “forcible rape.” Some of the sponsors are even from right here in Arizona.
If we let the Tea Party continue to run Congress, or if we elect candidates who quail and cower and tell the Tea Party what it wants to hear, we will do lasting damage to our country, and to our next generation.
Thanks for standing up,
