Sinema Puts Arizona First

August 19, 2014

Kyrsten Sinema for Congress

Phoenix, AZ – Another national publication has confirmed what Arizona voters already know:  Kyrsten Sinema cares about getting things done for Arizona – not playing partisan games.  In rankings released by the National Journal today, Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema (AZ-09) was named one of the most bipartisan representatives.

Recognized by both CQ Roll Call and the National Journal Vote Ratings, Sinema consistently votes independent of her party and is listed by CQ Roll Call as one of the 10 most independent Democratic representatives.

“I am fighting the gridlock in Washington to get things done for Arizona,” said Sinema. “I will work with anyone to find solutions to the problems our families, women, seniors, and veterans face.”

Sinema has a proven record of reaching out to members of both parties to find common ground on issues ranging from trade and economic development to reducing spending and government waste.  A member of the Blue Dog Coalition, New Democrat Coalition, No Labels Problem Solvers, and as a co-founder of the United Solutions Caucus she works with members of both parties to create real solutions to our country’s most pressing problems.

Sinema fights for common sense solutions that make it easier for Arizona families to get ahead and grow our economy.  She works with members of both parties to protect Arizona jobs, hold the Administration accountable, and solve problems for businesses in our district.
