Sinema Receives Endorsement of EMILY’s List
PHOENIX – Today, EMILY’s List, one of the nation’s largest women’s advocacy organizations, announced their endorsement of Kyrsten Sinema’s re-election campaign.
“Our team works every day to break through the political gridlock to ensure all Arizona women and families have the chance to succeed,” said Sinema. “We’re helping Arizonans get ahead and stay ahead by reauthorizing the Violence Against Women Act, fighting for equal pay for equal work, and ensuring all women have access to safe, affordable health care. I am proud to earn the support of EMILY’s List.”
Sinema took a lead role in fighting for the re-authorization of the Violence Against Women Act to protect women from abuse and co-sponsored the Paycheck Fairness Act to ensure equal pay for equal work. She also introduced legislation to help Arizonans prepare and save for parenthood.
