August 3rd, 2012

Phoenix, AZ – Today, The National Association of Police Organizations announced its support for Kyrsten Sinema’s campaign for Congress. NAPO is a coalition of police unions and associations from across the United States that serves to advance the interests of America’s law enforcement through legislative and legal advocacy, political action and education. They join the Fraternal Order of Police, Phoenix Law Enforcement Association, Arizona Police Association, Arizona Highway Patrol Association and the Professional Fire Fighters Association in their support of Sinema’s campaign. Together, they are the men and women who risk their lives daily to keep our neighborhoods safe and protect families from harm.

“NAPO is pleased to support Sinema’s campaign and we are confident of her strong support of America’s law enforcement community,” said William Johnson, Executive Director of NAPO.

“I’m grateful to have the support of NAPO,” said Sinema. “The work they do in Arizona and across the nation ensures that the safety of our families remain a top priority in every community. I’m running for Congress because the rich and powerful have had their turn and it’s time for regular people to have a stronger voice in Congress.”
