TEAMSTERS CHOOSE SINEMA FOR CONGRESS

Phoenix, AZ – On Thursday, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, announced its endorsement of Kyrsten Sinema in her race for Congress in Arizona’s District Nine.  The International Brotherhood of Teamsters represents working Americans in 21 different industries. They advocate for improving working standards and the right to a fair, healthful workplace. They join the United Steelworkers, UFCW and the AFL-CIO as the organizations that stand with Sinema because of her long-standing dedication to working families.

“Sinema has demonstrated unwavering support for everyday people who worry about how they will care for their families.  Our nation’s disappearing middle class cannot afford to wait for a Congress that chooses partisan ideology over commonsense solutions,” said Andy Marshall, Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 104.  “We need a strong voice in Washington who will  stand up to wealthy special interests and put Americans back to work.”
